Short Runs of High Quality Print Materials

Most commercial printers when asked to print off below 1000 copies of any print materials be it posters, flyers, brochures, booklets or inserts, will either quote you an horrendous price or most likely they will not want to bother at all, as their processes make it uneconomical to do so. There are literally only one or two other UK based companies, who will produce bespoke printing materials, protoypes and packaging such as digipacks in-house.  If you are lucky enough to find such a service, it is likely that they will double or triple the price per unit as soon as the quantities drop below 500. 

BE CAREFUL WHEN COMPARING OUR PRICES WITH OUR COMPETITORS!!  We try to be as open as possible with our charges, whether you decide to provide your own artwork or ask us to design and print the artwork for you.  Many other companies will be less clear about price, you may find that extra design work is extremely costly, or worse, that you have no comeback if the finished items sent are not as expected.  It also pays to also find out where the company is based, if they are based abroad there could be great difficulty with communication throughout the whole process.  Our charge for any design work is a straight £30.00 per hour compared to the average £50.00 or even £100.00 per hour, charged by other design or printing companies. 

TechnoVisual are unique in that we will make up just one of your product as a prototype for your review before we start the run and for more complicated items such as our premium digipacks, calendars or larger booklets we charge £30.00 for this service (one hours work).  Alternatively, we will supply a one off proof copy for more simple types of printed material such as an A5 flyer, or post card for the price of just £10.00, meaning a final copy of exactly what you will get, printed on the correct paper or card and sent to you via mail.  If the item is bigger than an A5 envelope then you will receive a printed panel or portion of the item plus an emailed PDF for proof reading.  Please note that most other companies offering a free printed proof copy, will virtually never mean one exact copy of your printed item, most likely it will be a chromalin to simply show colours, it is always best to check this with them first.

TechnoVisual specialises in good quality short print runs of most types of printed materials such as flyers, business cards, letterheads, brochures, booklets, leaflets, cards and calendars. The printing processes we employ, which include; large format inkjet, laser and digital printing, mean that we can keep our prices very low for even the shortest of runs, due to the relatively low set up costs involved. 

We use high quality media for all printing materials, our flyers and booklets for example are printed on 130 or 150gsm glossy paper and we have many other grades and weights of stock to chose from, depending on the finish you are looking for.  If you do not see what you are looking for listed in our price guide below, it does not mean that we don't provide this service, just ask us and we will try and accomodate you and your budget.

Our prototyping and proofing service is second to none, we undertstand the importance of seeing and feeling the printed item before going ahead with production.  A prototype copy will always be offered for simple printed material and insisted upon for anything more complicated such as packaging.

TechnoVisual has the facility to make up, print, scan, re-size or simply copy material which you have prepared. Alternatively, our graphic designers can design the item for you at a charge of £30.00 per hour plus vat.   We are often tasked to design logos for client's who have just set up in business and the design and short run printing of promotional materials such as flyers and business cards, can be a very useful service for businesses ready to test their market.  It can take a while for small companies to finalise every detail and become fully established, as such it makes sense to keep things on a small scale to begin with.

FULL PROTOTYPE SERVICE

The designers at TechnoVisual will always check the artwork before we start the print job and we strongly suggest that you use our full prototype facility before committing to the run.  This is particularly advisable for more bespoke items such as larger booklets and calendars and certainly for bespoke printed packaging.  The full prototype service involves checking your artwork, setting it up on our printers and cutters and then making one full prototype exactly to specification, which we will mail to you for your review.  On approval of this prototype, we ask that full payment is made before we start the print run.  This is a one off charge and would not be levied on future runs of the same design.  This prototype charge is £30.00 plus vat. 

STANDARD PROOFING SERVICE

For more standard print materials such as flyers and post cards we will offer a standard proofing service for just £10.00 plus vat.  This one-off prototype will be sent to you for your review before commencing the job and it will come in the form of a flat print, which could consist of the full product, i.e. a flyer, leaflet or post card printed on the correct paper or card as specified and using the printer best suited to your print run.  For larger items such as A3 posters or brochures it will consist of one A5 section or panel.  This one-off copy will give you a very good idea of the finish, layout, quality and colouring and can be used for proof reading.  For any printed items designed by ourselves, I would always send a jpg or pdf of the item via email as well for checking and proof reading purposes.

We do need to stress that if you do not take up our prototype or proofing service, we can not be held responsible for the finish, colours or layout, varying from that expected.  If we are designing the print material then we would always send a proof of the design via email in the form of a jpg for you to review and this service is always free of charge.  However, we would always advise that you take up the standard proof by mail or the full prototype service before committing to the full run.  Whether we supply the artwork or you prefer to send a final version of your own design, once the printed item has been proof read and approved and payment made, we can not be held responsible for mistakes in text or layout.

4) DE-LUXE DIGIPACKS

For those who like real quality, we are able to offer a pack using photo quality card printed with an extremely high quality large format inkjet printer with K3 inks.  These packs are only offered with a gloss or matt film coating over the photo card.  This type of pack can be used for a 4 or 6 panel pack with either black or clear trays but the 6 panel packs (single or double disc) are slightly different in that they are made as a portrait style rather than the usual landscape (jewel case) style - Add £1.00 to the 4 panel and 6 panel packs above.

The prices quoted are for products using quality media, however, we have a vast number of different media types and various print processes which we can use depending on your project, for example textured 'Hammered card' for a raw parchment look, duo side card with high gloss on one side and matt the other for post cards or greetings cards and also vellum or cream colour card.  We can adapt to suit your budget and your design, if we don't have what you were looking for we will try and source it for you.

Personlised Printed Hanging Wall Calendars A4 and A3

As well as the Jewel case CD calendars, TechnoVisual can also supply printed wall calendars, either A4 size or A3 size portrait.  TechnoVisual will be driven by the look you are hoping for but our basic design consists of 13 pages representing the 12 months of the year and a front cover page.  Each internal page will consist of an image on the top portion of the page and a simple monthly calendar layout, consisting of all the dates in boxes with enough room for notes.

All our calendars are made from high quality silk/gloss paper of two thicknesses either 150gsm or 130gsm depending on the quality required.  Each page will be printed with a high quality digital print and we use white metal coil holders with white metal loop hangers.  A clear acetate cover sheet can be added to the front of each calendar as an optional extra to add protection and elegance, please see the prices shown in the tables below. 

Should you require a piece of high quality thick white board for the back of the calendar to add structure this can also be added for an extra cost, as shown in the tables below. 

TechnoVisual can design the calendar for you if you wish to supply the images required, or we will find a suitable likeness for you using stock photography.  Our charge for this design work is £30.00 plus vat per hour. 

Should you wish to provide your own images already laid out on our template we will supply the dimensions required for calendar size images as a template together with instruction and would ask that you return the artwork as final versions in press quality PDF format at at least 300dpi. 

TechnoVisual will always check your artwork set it up on our printers and cutters and make up a protoype of your calendar to make sure that you are completely happy with it before we start making copies. This set up and prototype charge is £30.00 plus vat and as we keep all your artwork on file, we would not need to make this charge again if you require any future copies of the same calendar.

Personalised Printed Jewel Case Calendars

The perfect solution to your promotions dilemma - Why not choose something different this year!  Send your clients this incredibly useful desktop jewel case calendar and at the same time use it as the perfect marketing tool.  Using personalised branding of your choice, such as your company logo and contact details, this calendar will be seen and used all year round.

Each calendar set consists of a CD calendar presentation case and 12  full colour digitally printed cards printed onto high quality 150 or 170gsm  card, either gloss or matt, one card for each month of the year.  This card is printed on one side only and will include a useful calendar layout plus your photo and either your company logo or your personal name.  The calendar case appears like a CD Jewel Case when closed, which is light- weight and ideal for mailing, but the front cover folds right back, allowing the case to stand upright when placed on a desk or counter. Each case will comfortably hold 12 cards sized: - Width=118mm x Height=138mm.  

The cost is based on one printed calendar set of 12 cards including the case. TechnoVisual will print up to 500 units in one print run or as few as requried and can turn them around in a couple of days from the time your artwork is received.  Delivery will be charged at cost, based on weight and size of package.

The charge for a calendar set is shown in the table below.  A one-off £30.00 plus vat full prototype and set up fee, will also be charged per print run and would not be charged again for future copies of the same print run.  This charge will include setting up and making a one-off full calender which we will send to you for your review before we start the run.  Payment will be required on acceptance of this prototype.   We simply ask that you provide a high resolution image/photo for each card to set dimensions, plus your company logo or personal name and we will do the rest.

DESIGN & SUPPLY OF PRINT MATERIALS

At TechnoVisual we have a number of skilled technical and graphical designers who  will work with you to design your artwork.   We will advise you of the best type of print media to use for each project and will always provide a proof or even a full prototype before we start any print run. Our design team has many years experience working in the industry on a wide range of projects.  Our designers and printers enjoy the challenge of finding exactly the right look and feel for your particular project.  Examples of design include logos, flyers, booklets, menus, letterheads, labels and business cards etc

We have a large number of printers and specialist equipment at TechnoVisual including folders, cutters and laminators which can be used for most types of short run print project.  We also hold a huge range of card, paper and laminate film.  Our aim is to be sure to achieve a result you will be proud of and we are happy to work through a design idea from concept to prototype stage if this is something you require.  Our design cost is a very reasonable £30.00 per hour plus vat.
